Challenging Times
Tuesday, 08 November 2011 07:20

Only 25% of our budgeted income is received from the government and associated agencies, so fundraising to help so many children and their families is always a challenge, especially during these difficult economic times.

The wonderful but unexpected success of the Hangberg Safe Park has meant additional money has had to be found for extra food and sports equipment. As so often happens, several generous local residents have stepped in to offer to provide certain items of food on a regular basis. If you or your friends can help in any way or have any spare, good quality sports kit, including footballs, tennis balls, football and basketball nets, James House and the children would be very grateful.

Another way to support James House effortlessly without costing you a cent is to apply for a MyVillage MyPlanet card (an extension of MySchool) via our website www.jameshouse.org.za . It only takes a few seconds and the funds raised are also used to provide lunches for the children.
