James house provides a variety of programmes which include:
Residential Care : 24 hour care and protection for children who cannot remain safely at home, including family support and parenting skills programmes. The end goal being the re-unification of children with parents or caregivers in a caring family environment.
Isibindi: Care for orphans and vulnerable children, infected or affected by HIV/AIDS, to help them live full and healthy lives.
Isibindi also includes the Garden project, and the Gogo Programme which supports Grandmas that keep families together.
The Safe Park - allowing children to learn, to play and to reclaim their childhood in a safe, healthy environment - free and structured play is provided as well as a meal to the 60 or children who attend after school each day.

Life Centre: Breaking the cycle of poverty for unemployed young people through life skills training, assistance with securing employement and access to further education and training.
The Life Centre Includes the Sibanye Youth Club
Diverting young people at risk from destructive behaviour through participation in cultural, sporting and community service activities.
